It is so easy to create these fun and spooky witch finger Halloween cookies.
At my house, we are in complete Halloween mode. From the decorations to the food, we love getting ready for the spooky occasion.
One of my favorite things to do, this time of year, is to make fun kid-friendly Halloween themed food projects. My daughter enjoys it so much. It is an easy and fun way for us to spend time together.
This recipe uses all store bought ingredients, so it couldn’t be easier to make these creepy Halloween cookies.
Witch Finger Halloween Cookies
Ingredients:
- Shortbread cookies
- White melting chocolate
- Green food coloring
- Chocolate frosting
- Sparkly pink frosting
Instructions:
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave in 15 minute intervals.
- Once melted, add a few drops of green food coloring and stir to combine.
- Coat each cookie with the green chocolate.
- Place on a piece of wax paper.
- Use the chocolate frosting to make knuckle marks and to create an outline for the fingernail.
- Use the sparkly frosting to create a fingernail.
- Allow to harden.
