If you love iced coffee, check out this fun and delicious variation that is perfect for summer.
I love iced coffee. It is probably one of my favorite beverages. I drink it all year long. During the hot summer months, I find myself drinking it much more.
Usually, when making an iced coffee, I chill brewed coffee and add milk. I also like to use frozen coffee ice cubes in my drink. By doing this, my coffee doesn’t get diluted as I drink it throughout the morning.
I like to sweeten my iced coffee with Starbucks syrups, flavored creamers or raw sugar.
I got the inspiration for this iced coffee float from one of my favorite childhood beverages. I always loved drinking root beer floats. Later, in college, I would always attend a weekly event and have a Dr. Pepper float.
I haven’t had a float in several years. So, I decided to make an adult version of my favorite drink and created the iced coffee float.
You can easily customize this float by using your favorite ice cream and topping flavors.
