This is my fireplace mantel decorated for Christmas. Hallmark sold the lights at the bottom a few years ago. They are my favorite because they make shadows of snowflakes all over the room. The small white box on the mantel is a remote control. My husband always wires all of our Christmas lights so that we can easily turn them on by remote. It certainly makes life easier. I used to spend forever plugging in cords all over the house. Now, all I have to do is click a few buttons and all of the lights come on.
