See how I used delicious Lone Star Eggs to create an amazing twist on a classic breakfast dish.
I’m not from Texas. Although I live in the Houston area now, I wasn’t born here. However, most of the major events in my life have happened in the Lone Star State.
Since living in Texas, I graduated from college and graduate school, met my husband, got married and had a daughter.
One of my favorite Texas items is the mug pictured below. It was one of the first things my husband purchased for me back when we were dating in college.
I dont know if you can tell, but the mug is GIANT. You could fill it with at least two cups of coffee. It’s kind of worn, but I still get a kick out of using it.
While living in Texas, my husband introduced me to eggs in a nest. I wasn’t familiar with the dish. After he prepared it for me the first time, I was hooked.
So, I decided to whip up a batch of eggs in a nest with a little twist. Since I’m Italian, I decided to make eggs in a nest with garlic bread.
Since Lone Star Eggs already taste amazing, I knew I was going to create a knock out breakfast. The people at Lone Star Eggs pride themselves in the fresh-off-the ranch flavor of their eggs. I can attest that they do taste incredibly delicious.
I cannot wait for you to try this fun take on eggs in a nest.
