I love Halloween. I really, really love to create scary treats. This Halloween crescent roll appetizer is perfect for any party or family gathering. It is so easy to create this skeleton hand. It looks scary and your guests will love it. If you like pigs in a blanket, you will enjoy this appetizer.
You only need a few ingredients to create the skeleton hand. You need a can of Pillsbury crescent rolls, a package of little smoked sausage links (I used Nathan’s Cocktail Frank Beef Smokies) and an orange string cheese (or any orange cheese).
This is a really fun kid-friendly recipe. Your kids will enjoy folding the crescent rolls around the little smoked sausages. You can also let them apply the string cheese fingernails.
Crescent Roll Halloween Appetizer Instructions:
Step 1-Cut each crescent roll in half.
Step 2-Put a sausage in the dough half. Wrap the top and bottom onto the sausage and finish with the sides.
Step 3-Form a hand on a cookie sheet and add a sliver of string cheese (or any orange cheese) to the top, as fingernails.
Step 4-Bake at 375 for 14-17 minutes.
I served mine with mustard, ketchup and barbecue sauce. I hope your guests enjoy this scary Halloween treat!
