I was so excited when I found these chocolate Easter eggs at Costco. The bag is full of hollow chocolate Easter eggs wrapped in brightly colored foil. The chocolates are about the same size as a regular egg.
This year, this happy mom doesn’t have to fill a ton of plastic eggs with candy. Instead, I’m going to hide these eggs for my daughter’s Easter egg hunt.
I’m also happy because these eggs taste amazing-just like expensive European chocolate! I just had to sample one to make sure they tasted OK. Hopefully, there will be enough left for the Easter egg hunt.
These are neat, but a word of warning about these. They melt and they do it rather quickly.
We hid these last year and they were a huge mess! Chocolate everywhere!
We will use them this year, but only for hiding inside or as prizes.. A friend of mine used them last year on a cooler day than we did a week before Easter and hers got covered in ants. So, a good idea
in theory, but I won’t do it again like I did last year.
