My family loves chocolate chip cookies. They are some of our favorite cookies of all time.
Lately, my daughter loves to eat her favorite type of cookie. She asks for them a lot. So, I make them a lot. When she recently asked me to make a batch, I decided to try something a little different.
I knew I couldn’t change the cookies too much. My daughter is a pretty picky eater and wouldn’t appreciate any drastic changes.
I decided to add a component to make the cookies taste even better.
You are probably wondering—How is that possible? Can you even make chocolate chip cookies taste better?
My answer is-yes! You can totally make chocolate chip cookies taste better. I did this by taking two chocolate chip cookies and putting frosting between them.
But, I didn’t use just any old boring frosting because that would have been too easy.
I made chocolate chip cookie dough frosting. It is UNREAL. It is so amazingly delicious. I cannot even begin to tell you how much I love this frosting.
I know what you’re thinking–cookie dough frosting between two chocolate chip cookies, isn’t that too much of a good thing?
I have to tell you that there is no such thing as too much cookie dough. Unless, of course, you don’t like cookie dough. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who doesn’t like cookie dough.
My whole family ate these sandwich cookies like crazy. Of course, the cookies are delicious by themselves. Chocolate chip cookies always taste amazing. However, the addition of the cookie dough frosting makes them out of this world delicious.
Don’t even get me started about the frosting. I could have eaten the frosting with a spoon (I confess, I did). It is so creamy and tastes just like chocolate chip cookie dough.
