I received Super Saurus and the Egg to facilitate this review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Super Saurus and the Egg, written by Deborah Underwood and illustrated by Ned Young, is about a very creative young dinosaur.
Things are running pretty smoothly in Arnold’s house until his parents bring home an egg! When he finds out he is going to be an older brother, his imagination runs wild!
Arnold decides the egg could contain just about anything! From an egg of doom to a vampire-saurus, Arnold is convinced it could be anything other than a baby dinosaur!
So, Arnold takes matters into his own hands and decides to keep a vigil over the egg…just to make sure it doesn’t hatch something truly unexpected!
When the egg hatches, Arnold is surprised to find an ordinary baby dinosaur. However, while he was prepared for all sorts of zany things to pop out of the egg, wasn’t quite ready for a baby! He tries to sing and blow bubbles but the baby dinosaur will not stop crying. So, he does what any other super big brother would do, gives the baby a super cape!
This innovative book is a unique way to introduce toddlers to the idea of becoming a big brother or sister. From the fun illustrations to the imaginative story, your kids will love this book!
