You may know them as puppy chow, but I grew up calling them muddy buddies. I love anything with chocolate and peanut butter. So, I decided to take the classic muddy buddy recipe and make half white chocolate peanut butter and half milk chocolate peanut butter–the result: Marble Muddy Buddies. I also prefer using Crispix cereal, instead of Chex.

Marble Muddy Buddies
White Chocolate:
4 cups Crispix cereal
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cups white chocolate chips
1/2-3/4 cups powdered sugar
Milk Chocolate:
4 cups Crispix cereal
1/4 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2-3/4 cups powdered sugar
In one pot, combine the peanut butter and white chocolate and cook on low until melted. In a second pot, combine the peanut butter and milk chocolate chips and cook on low until melted. (You can also combine the chocolates and peanut butter in the microwave). In two separate bowls, combine each melted mixture with the cereal and then add the powdered sugar. Combine and serve. Store in a sealed container.
